Stephanie Long

An award-winning educator and strategic innovator, Stephanie is committed to transforming complex data and diverse stakeholder input into practical, forward-thinking outcomes. She leverages over two decades of expertise to design and lead multidisciplinary initiatives that drive operational excellence, policy innovation, and meaningful collaboration. Beyond the campus, you will find her speaking at conferences, mentoring emerging professionals, and supporting the greater community. Her work is grounded in a belief that meaningful change happens when we connect data, people, and purpose.

Certified as a GIS Professional (GISP), Stephanie’s background includes systems integration, data management, spatial analysis, field data collection, web mapping, geocoding, land records, training, automation, consulting, and strategic planning.  With a Master’s in GIS, she combines a passion for educating others with a geospatial mindset.

Mike Long

Mike Long is an award-winning GIS professional with over two decades of experience designing and deploying high-performance geospatial platforms. He has been featured for his innovative work in articles by both Esri and Safe Software. Specializing in ArcGIS Enterprise, Safe Software’s FME, and Python-based automation, Mike has built scalable data pipelines that ensure real-time updates, maintain accuracy, and support mission-critical mapping systems for public agencies and enterprises alike.

Certified as an FME Professional, GISP & Scrum master, Mike’s background includes enterprise geodatabase administration, automation of regulatory workflows, and the integration of GIS with business systems like Snowflake, Trapeze, Jira, & Hexagon EAM, to name a few. With a Master’s in GIS and a Bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning, Mike combines technical depth with strategic insight. His solutions bridge the gap between IT and GIS, whether managing large-scale deployments, optimizing data infrastructure, or mentoring others on complex systems.

Together, Stephanie and Mike combine their strengths to build powerful, end-to-end GIS programs.
